I believe that I am the right person to be making this documentary as I am truly passionate about uncovering the truth and finding out about people's experiences of life. My curiosity drives my passion. I have lived in Handsworth all my life and I genuinely believe that I there is a lot of culture and history that is yet to be discovered. My experience and knowledge of the documentary genre is at a high standard now as I have created 2 documentaries that have been successful, however I have never made a documentary like this before. This will be a challenging yet rewarding documentary as I am not only educating the audience on the Handsworth community, I am educating myself. This challenging documentary will only make me more confident in my abilities to create something innovative and interesting. I am challenged to make this documentary appeal to everyone. I want people who know nothing about the Handsworth or Hector, to watch a documentary about Handsworth and Hector, this I believe is my true challenge. During this process I do believe that my passion and curiosity will only become greater as I am learning the history about the place that I have lived in for 21 years.

I have a very good character and very good story, what I need to do now is make the visuals equally amazing. I want this documentary to be visually stunning and impactful on the audience. I have many people who are interested in being interviewed as part of this documentary so I have no shortage of contributors. I still need to look for a crew who will help me to create this documentary, mainly a cinematographer, who will bring this documentary to life through the composition and versatility of camera shots and angles.
