A short character based documentary that chronicles the life of Hector Pinkney, an extraordinary community worker based in Handsworth, Birmingham. We focus on Hector’s family’s history in community work, his determination to make a positive change in the Handsworth community and how he gained the title of Mr. Handsworth. Unity in the Community challenges the negative reputation of the Handsworth area and how people like Hector are changing this negative representation.
